It looks like a symbol used in place of the blades of windmills in a wind farm.
The asterisk is the symbol used for convolution in mathematics so maybe they're trying to make some kind
of statement with that idea?
Maybe "We bloviate a kind of moving average message for you!"
Or since it can also denote a zero perhaps "We blow around a message that is content free!"
This is not too far from what their site quotes:.
"The Rosen Group understands implicitly how to translate sophisticated agendas into easily-understood
and impactful stories that journalists value."
On the contact us page they use a 3 bladed design that looks like a boat prop.
