The relevant domain are the movies which involve mixed 'partnerships' (of some sort) of black/white or gay/straight. I'm trying to remember deaths in the Lethal Weapon series. The one 'major' death I remember is a woman. In the days of the Hays Office any woman who had 'illicit' sex had to die (or at least become very very miserable).
