FWIW, Cole's blog compares Bush to Gen. Jack D. Ripper (Sterling
Hayden), while the photoshopped picture was originally of the B-52
pilot, Col. Kong (Slim Pickens). The former was totally nuts, while
the latter was a relatively sane person within a totally crazy
societal context.
