A good occasion to remind Joanna, who has met Joel (over dinner on Mission St. after one of your Modern Times book talks, several yrs. ago) about his excellent book on Israel and Palestine.

Loved his recent Tikkun piece on Sufjan Steven's great album, "Illonoise." (W/ a song on John Wayne Gacy, btw!)...Ooops, that was Charlie Bertsch...anyway Tikkun is a better read now w/Joel's editorial pencil.
