You can go after Hillary Clinton for a lot of things, but this isn't one of them. The fact is that Casey is better than the common run of Democrats, not a "move to the right." Most of his "opposition" among Democrats consists of middle-class twits who have never organized a thing in their lives and who could not care less about the working class and the issues that affect people who have to work for a living. Their idea of a better Senate candidate is Barbara Hafer, who was a Republican as recently as three years ago, and for real reasons. These same people backed Rendell against Casey for governor three years ago, and yet Rendell, too, said he would have voted for Alito's confirmation; you can say what you want about Democratic strategy (or more properly, lack thereof) on Alito, but it has nothing to do with a given Democratic politician's stance on the fetus issue.
Santorum is arguably the worst fetus-fetishist in the Senate, and his opponent this November will be Bob Casey. That is a fact. You're either for ejecting Santorum, or you're not. This Mooney Times article is clearly an attempt to shore up Santorum's base by associating Casey with Hillary Clinton.
