More complicated than my sore elbow can even begin to discuss, at least at this time. But I do mean growth of use value.
While the cessation of change is, of course, death, nevertheless dramatic change or rapid change shortens life span and weakens immune response.
Capitalism never offers the rest period within which change can be absorbed and enjoyed but rushes on to the next change. Capitalism also through the wretchedness of so many constantly creates the illusion of the necessity of growth/progress/change, whereas in a social order in which a decent minimal level of comfort change/growth for the sake of change/growth would not be a very obvious need.
