----- Original Message ----- From: "andie nachgeborenen" <andie_nachgeborenen at yahoo.com> -You've really gone over the top, or through the -bottom, Nathan, if you are willing to excuse criminal -behavior because the crooks support some good -legislation. I thought you were a lawyer.

"Criminal behavior" has a wideranging meaning over the years, ranging from actual bad acts to union leaders defying anti-strike injunctions. The issue is not breaking the law, but whether the law was being used to protect the public or target working class representatives.

-You're starting to sound like an apologist for Willie Stark -in All The King's Men. And what about ex-Governor -Ryan? Sure, he took a few dirty dollars (well, a few -hundreds of thousands of them) and sold a few dozen or -hundred trucker's licences to people who couldn't -drive, but hell, he commuted a shitload of death -sentences, anf after oll, only seven kidsd ied when -one of his truckers ran over their van.

So far, what he's accused of as far as I can tell is trying to get Democrats appointed to various offices. Who has Blajovech killed? He hasn't even been indicted and you have already convicted him of murder by analogy.

If you're the lawyer, a defense one in fact, what happened to innocent until proven guilty?

Does this mean every union leader, including Eugene Debs, who turned a blind eye to violent behavior by some of his lieutenants, is a scoundrel. Where does your demand for sainthood end?
