Are they saying Cheney blames the victim for standing in the wrong place and that he think most hunters will agree with him on this? He can't be that disconnected from reality can he? I guess so.

I've been nearly shot quail hunting and I can tell you that the man pointing the gun is always 100% responsible for where he fires.

Absolutely. It is always the shooter's fault. Always. Even in the off chance it wasn't his fault, a real outdoorsman, as opposed to someone who apparently just like killing things, would accept responsibility for what happened - those are the rules. It is so characteristic that this asshole would try to absolve himself for what appears to be a gross failure of responsibility on his part. A true "conservative," if such things exist, would say straight out: "This was my fault. I broke a cardinal rule of hunting and I'm responsible for what happened." After all, aren't these people forever talking about "personal responsibility" and "accountability"? I guess those virtues are only for those living below the poverty line. These Bushmen are liars and cowards to a man - every fucking one of them. They are beneath contempt.
