Amazing. It would cost WBAI nothing and take five minutes to set up a Myspace account. A little networking and they could create a critical mass of younger (and older) listeners who would think about WBAI more often because it would be online.
I run four Myspace profiles, two for organizations. The one I set up for KC Indymedia got swamped with hundreds of "friends" requests, because Myspace decided to highlight the profile for its 50 million users. After I dealt with the avalanche of worthless "adds" I whittled down the "friends" to around 50 people, including a bunch of people in the Kansas City area who are into indie films and music, but didn't know much about KC Indymedia.
And last night the Infoshop profile landed me a speaking gig in Miami.
