I am very skeptical about your numbers and your use of them.
For one, I don't think lynching even begins to cover the violence against black people in this country -- which assumes many forms: official violence (almost guaranteed incarceration), implicit violence (lack of medical care), emotional violence (bad schools, complete lack of respect).
I'm also not sure about the idealization of gangbangers. There's a fair amount of that that is backed by the corporate media ... But I grant that black on black violence is a great tragedy ...
