How fucking stupid can people get? The Left in the U.S. really ought to get behind the Israel divestment movement. The point of the divestment movement is to get Israel to change its policies. If the fucking Israeli government is building an apartheid wall around Palestine, they are obviously a long way from actually giving the Palestinians control over their land and their lives.

When some of us pushed for South Africa divestment in the 1980s on college campuses, we did so to pressure the South Africa apartheid regime, not because we were anti-South Africa or anti-Afrikaaner.
