I've said here before that I hope the Belarusians rid themselves of the arbitrary and oafish repression of Lukashenko. ---
Luka is the main reason Russia and Belarus have not united into one state. Putin's great dislike of the man is well known, although the latter likes to glom around Putin on camera b/c it helps his approval rating.
