Sorry, Charles but as I've written I do not buy the idea that the collapse of the Soviet system was all due to outside pressure from capitalists. It just doesn't bear out and it ignores the problems inside the Soviet system. These problems are so obvious that they have discredited the model and it is our job to create a new model.

Throughout history, the better-financed system has won out. I put it to you that socialism can be the better-financed system - not by being a system which ignores finance (as Marxists have in the past) but by being one which embraces and revolutionizes finance.
