Constantly. I'm exposed to it as I do things around the house, so I can claim that I'm up-to-date on what's on Fox News.

I believe last night they were obsessed with that traitor Harry Belafonte.

I think the BEARS thing on the Colbert Report is a dig at the obsession Fox News has with scaring its viewers. You know, all the stuff about sharks and that missing white girl in Aruba.

I owe everybody some posts about "What's the Matter With Kansas" now that I'm almost done with it. It's cutting pretty close to home for me, since Frank and I were born the same year and were at KU at the same time. Last night I put two and two together and realized that Phill Kline was that asshole Republican activist on campus in the mid 80s who we had to deal with as activists. I think it's time for a little payback.

The success of Republican extremists like Kline and Jim Ryun shows how important it is to short circuit the religious right at the local level. And it's hard for us to do that in red state Kansas without resources from the "blue states."

On a positive note, I just heard on the radio that Kline may be unseated in the next eletion by another Republican.

Chuck
