[lbo-talk] privatization

driving to work today, I noticed a truck with a sinister logo (an eye
with rays coming out of it, spying on people) for Pinkerton Government
Services. I didn't know that such companies were explicitly
incorporating privatization in their names (or, perhaps, the names of
their divisions). Further, they didn't consult their PR flacks,
because that name obviously produces the acronym PiGS.

(I thought that it was only the Left that made such mistakes, as with
the New American Movement, NAM, and In These Times, ITT.)
