Pakistani gang rape victim writes memoir

Pakistani gang rape victim Mukhtar Mai has written a memoir called Dishonoured.
The French book is in collaboration with author Marie-Thrse Cuny, and has been released in France and Germany. It will soon come out in 100 more languages.
Mukhtar has a busy schedule planned. After Paris, she is expected to travel to New York and attend a "gala" arranged by the International Women's Health Coalition on January 19.
The next day, she will be at the United Nations for an event.
Mukhtar attracted attention worldwide following her resolve to fight her country's male-dominated society to bring her attackers to book.
