Been reading Jared Diamond's excellent book Collapse. Marxist but he doesn't kjnow it, probably ther best way to be a Marxist today. Explains in sharp detail in many cases how such executive committees and ruling groups through the ages have fucked things up for themselves as well as everyone else. The Bush administration is the worst administration even from the pov of US capitalism that this country has had since maybe the administration of James Buchanan.
