That the Dems took no cash from Abramoff is a freak of nature -- like a 
piece of straw drilled into a tree by a tornado. It happens from time to 
time.

Still, all this wailing about how "the Dems didn't do it" really begs the 
larger question. It's like a hooker with herpes denouncing another hooker 
with clamidia. That they both carry infectious viruses is downplayed in 
favor of which virus is worse.
