South Korea-based electronics giant Samsung said it had launched a series of its latest printers and LCD displays in Vietnam to target the country's booming business sector.Samsung Vietnam general director Sang Youl Eom said that rising consumer trends in the country have made it an attractive market for technology firms, adding that such changes were creating new opportunities for Samsung, which is striving to become the national market leader.Samsung last year targeted local businesses for its laptop and colour laser printers, and saw a growth rate of 36% in the Vietnamese market.The company said its PC monitors were its best seller in Vietnam, accounting for 65% of the company's revenue in the market, followed by hard-disks with 20%,and optical drives and printers with 15%.
