I was wondering if anyone has read _Golden Rule : The Investment Theory of Party Competition and the Logic of Money-Driven Political Systems_ by Thomas Ferguson.
If so what do you think of it? Any criticisms?
Chomsky often metions the book and Bill Tabb has a well written article in this months Monthly Review that is largely shaped by Ferguson's book. [ see The Power of the Rich by William K. Tabb http://www.monthlyreview.org/0706tabb.htm ]
