Anglo-American leftists have a major problem with ignoring or playing down structurally anti-semitic logic.
For some reason, it is okay to note when somebody is adopting racist or sexist argumentation, but if someone dares to suggest that an argument contains anti-semitic topoi, then you are accused of being an agent of the neo-conservatives or an apologist for the Israeli right-wing.
Moishe Postone's Anti-Semitism and National Socialism should be an obligatory reading for all leftists to avoid foreshortened anti-capitalist arguments that overlap with anti-semitism.
