[lbo-talk] Perceptions of the Middle East situation

One way of gauging public opinion on an issue is browsing posts to forums
run by major media outlets.  Unlike political niche outlets (such as
lbo-talk or The Nation, for example), major outlets tend to attract people
from various political camps, so these posts collectively offer a balance of
public opinions.  The value of this method is a glimpse into unsolicited
views as framed by members of the public rather than by pundits or
researchers.

It is worth noting how little public support the current Israeli action
