Isrel which had just vacated Gaza under much publicity was not happy to do this. Kidnapping of two offensive soldiers is only a ruse. The real intention is US wants an expansion of the war theatre. It wants to suck in Syria and Iran somehow. It has to happen and it is better it happens sooner so that it may lead to some sort of setlement.
Hizbullah is not a match to US supported military. Till the day organised Islamists offer resistance their travail under the imperialist attack would continue. For this to happen their peoiple would have to over thow the feudal sheikhs. But US will not allow this happen either. It only offers lip sympathy for democracy. It is not ready to respect peoples' veridict in favaour of Hamas and do business with them
