Bill Bartlett: You just don't get it at all, I'll try to simplify. Under capitalism, goods and services are created and distributed for profit, rather than to meet the needs of people. This involves relying on some kind of market force to regulate production, rather than producing enough to meet all needs
[WS:] So if I get you correctly, in the capitalist hell people strive only to enrich themselves and satisfy their vile selfish desires, while in the socialist heaven they will be driven by altruism to help their brethren. That is all good and nice, but when the Revolution finally comes, what are you proposing to do with the millions of good x-tians, nativists, racists, gay bashers, and kindred good 'Muricans who impulsively hate and discriminate against others without any profit motive? Gas them?
