I will put it in a diffrent way:

Socialism and capitalism is about the system of society and its values. It is technology that solves the problem of production. We should not assume unlimited resources. Also there is enough in the world to everybody's need but not greed. While technology crys aloud there is no need for hunger and privation in the world it is the system that enslaves human being through want and privation. When you aopply required corections to the caspitalist system it is no longer capitalistic. You may refuse to call it socialism,. You may even call it democratisation of cpital if it sounds palatable. ,that does not matter.

In Marxism revoultionary points are very well recognised. Tools of production is ready but the societal structure is not ready to exploit it is a stage. Also revolutiojn must result in change of ownership of the tools of production from the earlier class to a new class. In todays world technolgy offers to solve all the problems of hunger, health, education etc. But the social structure is an impediment in the realisation of that. Wars are waged to prevent this very transfer of power to a new class. '''

I repeat there is no end of history in Marxism. Man makes his own history. Today he is shackeld in many ways from making this history. Every human being once released from the bondage of hunger and suffering, would crave for knowledge and would like to find full expression for his inherent creativity. It is only then human history will break out with full force. End of the Hisrory thereicians want us to be lulled in to torpor so that revoultuion and change of hands of power does not take place. This theory is not new. In 1920 also some German fellow said human society had attained its pinnacle and we should not disturb it as what follows will be worse. Is it Speglar?
