Pure lunacy. Iran is a theocracy which doesn't attack its neighbors. Syria's creaky one-party state has zero offensive capacity and no interest in invading its neighbors. Egypt is busy building its EU export markets. The resistance movements in Iraq want the US out and a Shiite republic in. Hezbollah wants its prisoners out of Israeli jails. None of this comes within several hundred light-years of the Third Reich.
