I'll post last Thursday's radio show to the web on Monday (it's up there for podcast subscribers, but it's not on the web page yet). In it, Joel Schalit argues that Walt/Mearsheimer et al have it exactly backwards - Israel is fighting proxy wars for Washington, and not vice versa. In this case, it's a way to go after Iran, via Hezbollah, or so Washington thinks.
