New Jersey's a budgetary mess. Christie Whitman slashed taxes and  
raided the pension funds to cover the difference. The bills are now  
coming due. I don't get why he wanted to be governor, except for ego  
grandiosity. He should have stayed in the Senate - check out his  
voting record there.
