Well Rubin was the only member of BC'c cabinet who opposed welfare "reform." Paulson, if anything, is suspected of being a weak dollar guy, the opposite of Rubin. I suspect that Paulson is to the right of Rubin on tax policy but I don't know for sure. Must make some inquiries.
