There was some piece (NYT?) that said the blogosphere was to the contemporary left what AM talk radio began to be for the right in the 1990s.

As for blogging, it's still really hard for me to figure out what the hell I should spend my time reading regularly. Signal-to-noise ratio. Dennis Perrin's is def. good.
