[lbo-talk] John J. Miller, getting more attention than he ever had before, comes up with 50 more "conservative" rock songs

National Review rock 'n roller John J. Miller pushed some buttons with that "Top 50 Conservative Rock Songs" list of his and gloats about it in his newest piece, linking to blogs that made fun of the original list, which I referred to as "a Frankenstein of lame." I guess he found out what gets him attention. A friend of mine who runs a small record label saw Miller's new, 2nd "TOp 50" and had a one word response to the songs: "CONTEXT!"

Anyway, his 2nd "Top 50" delves deeper and if it appeared in a forum it'd be called "trolling": DEAD KENNEDYS, SUICIDAL TENDENCIES, THE SMITHS, BLACK SABBATH, and others, if you can believe. Yes, he says Dead Kennedys' "Holiday in Cambodia" is a Top 100 conservative rock song:
