``..hypocrisy is never in short supply. But do we really want to adopt Feith as the standard?''

We don't have to. Evidently Georgetown does. I don't know anything about Georgetown, but it sounds like an rich, prep, snotier-than-thou school, certainly worth every penny of the basic 16.7k a semester it costs to go there. Why not hire Feith? It ain't a public institution.

``Founded in 1789, the same year the U.S. Constitution took effect, Georgetown University is the nation's oldest Catholic and Jesuit university. Today, Georgetown is a major international research university that embodies its founding principles in the diversity of our students, faculty, and staff, our commitment to justice and the common good, our intellectual openness, and our international character.''

Sounds like just the kinda place for Feith. The Iraq war proves he embodies the founding principles of justice, common good and intellectual openness with an international character.
