My sister's boss is the CFO of a mid-sized enterprise-software company 
in Silicon Valley. She says he doesn't read the business press. At all. 
Not the WSJ, Business Week, nothing. Not out of any sort of principle 
(he reads the trades). He just thinks he doesn't need to. I found that 
astonishing.
