I guess I thought it would be obvious as to why, but here's why:

1. We need to organize.

2. That means we have to know who's out there and who's willing to do this one small thing.

3. Once we do this, at least with Technorati, we will immediately have a way to collect information and know who else is out there.

4. This googlebomb links to his page and we can start a letter writing campaign or what have you.

5. We need to start doing something with a collective voice. This is a small step, I realize. But it's a beginning. We need to feel successful at something.

6. I can do it alone and neither can anyone else, but we have to start somewhere and this is why I think we should do it.

7. I'm not an organizing genius. I'm not made of loads of time. But, I'm sick of doing nothing except blabbing on the blog. Maybe we can start strategizing this way by first building a network. Something along the lines of what Tex mentioned, parlaying this isn't some updated version of consciousness raising.

8. Maybe I'm all washed up. IN which case leave a comment and tell me how idiotic my idea is or tell me about people who have done something already.

9. The Planned Parenthood Petition against the S. Dakota Abortion Ban: <http://www.ppaction.org/campaign/southdakota_abortionban>http://www.ppaction.org/campaign/southdakota_abortionban

<http://legis.state.sd.us/sessions/2005/mbrdt128.htm>sexist asshat, Senator William M. Napoli.

Oh as to technological questions: All googlebombing is including a link on a blogpost. Type sexist asshat and then link to Napoli's site and encourage people to write and complain by using the contact information.
