True-- although its just-in-time delivery system and vulnerability to direct consumer boycott also makes it potentially more vulnerable to a union campaign. And most of manufacturing had intense turnover before unionization. Historically, decrease in turnover was the result of strong unions, not the prequisite for their organizing success.
