Taiwan, Japan, Singapore, the Republic of Korea and Holland are in the list of top ten among a total of 13 foreign economies pouring investment in Lam Dong province.

The Central Highlands province has so far attracted 72 foreign-invested projects capitalised at almost 209 million USD, said the provincial People's Committee.

Eighty four percent of the figure are wholly foreign invested projects, focusing on tourism, production and processing of high quality farm produce to tap the province's potential.

The foreign-invested sector contributed 62 percent to the province's export revenues last year and now provides jobs for over 7,000 local workers.

Provincial People's Committee Chairman Huynh Duc Hoa recently vowed to work out biggest ever incentives for investors, saying such as policy would bring a large number of foreign investors to the province's two new tourist sites in the Dan Kia-Golden Spring and the Tuyen Lam lake as well as large-sized industrial parks in the years to come.
