I bet on every presidential election. Practically the only wager I ever make. I won betting on Gore in 2000. You do recall he actually won the election don't you? I bet on who would win the election, not who would become president. It didn't occur to any of us wagering that those would turn out to be two different wagers.

I'm hardly a fan of Gore, although he is better than Kerry, but I would have to agree with Nathan on this. I'd bet on Gore again and feel pretty secure in doing so. Last I heard Gore favored single-payer national health coverage and that's something fairly substantial in my opinion. He sucks in other areas but if he could pull that off it won't be all bad. I don't know how this will play out with all the incrementalists who think it is too big a step to be considered realistic.
