95% of french workers are *covered* by collective bargaining in france, in contrast, u.s. *anti-labor* laws function to restrict such *coverage* to about 17% of u.s. workers...

i asked question on this list a couple of weeks ago about huge gap between collective agreement coverage and union density in france, maybe no one read the questions, maybe no one cared about the question, maybe no one had any info or knew anything about the matter, whatever the reason/s, no one responded...

btw: situations in greece, spain, germany, austria, netherlands, portugal, and italy are similar to france, narrowest gap among these countries is italy with 83% collective bargaining coverage and 39% union density... mh
