I think O'Reilly a pretty big wuss himself when he's off his own plantation. 
He's only tough when he can tell people to shut up and if they don't listen 
he can cut their mike.  He's tough in the same way that the president is 
tough--lots of institutional instruments at his disposal which mean that he 
never really has to defend himself--physically or rhetorically.
