From what I understand the "One Stop" employment centers have largely replaced the Dept of Rehab as far as employment is concerned. There has been privatization of disability employment. The Dept of Rehab is notoriously bad at getting people into jobs but I'm certain that a lot of it has to do with the unwillingness of employers to hire disabled workers. As I said before disabled are on the bottom floor of the reserve army. Even the blind disabled who have government contracts to provide food, what have you, hire nondisabled workers. Marta
