You've just brought back a very odd memory--the opening of side 2, I think, of an Alberto Y Los Trios Paranoios LP, with sirens going off and a loudspeaker telling people to "leave the sick and the infirm" and proceed to the shelters and take the yellow pill. I think it was the yellow pill. Probably disturbing is a better word than odd.
