May 10, 2006 -- WASHINGTON - Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton - an outspoken critic of President Bush - put aside her red-hot rhetoric last night to hail the chief. Asked to say something nice about Bush during a Q&A session at the National Archives, Clinton rattled off a string of compliments - a far cry from her harsh critiques of Bush's Iraq war, energy and economic policies.
"He's been very willing to talk. He's been affable, he's been good company," she said.
"He is someone who has a lot of charm and charisma, and in the immediate aftermath of 9/11, I was very grateful to him for his support for New York."
