Not sure why Bataille is brought up in relation to Heidegger. Bataille was anti-fascist, anti-Nazi, etc. Was a founding member of Contra-Attaque, an anti-fascist org. right before WW2 that Andre Breton and other surrealists were in and out of. Bataille is well known for slamming the rise of (especially German) fascism in Europe, criticizing its usage of Nietzsche, etc.

So, if Heidegger, why not Bataille? Okay, well, heck -- why not Spongebob Squarepants.
