Is it only because of a fictitious surname? BBC Newsnight said that it
was false pretences for asylum, i.e., she was living in comfort in
Kenya, but claimed she was under persecution, i.e., the sort of action
that gives asylum seekers a bad name and used by conservative govts
everywhere to give asylum seekers a hard time.
