An egregious gaffe by the usually well informed Juan Cole. Black hasn't
owned Toronto's National Post for a long time, since well before he was
removed as chair of his holding company, Hollinger International, and
exposed and indicted as a crook. He sold his controlling stake in the NP to
Izzy Asper's Canwest Global in 2000. Asper, if anything, has made the paper
even more of a Canadian mouthpiece for Israeli policy than it had been under
the puffed-up but now disgraced Lord Black of Crossharbour.
