Too many liberals and leftists in the West (well, mostly in America, in this case -- the Europeans and Japanese don't appear as addicted to bumper stickers as the Americans) say "Support the Troops," meaning the troops of their own countries, but they seldom say the same for soldiers on the other side (and certainly no bumper sticker for that!). At the bottom of their hearts, most of them prefer the empire's soldiers to, say, Hizballah. -- Yoshie <http://montages.blogspot.com/> <http://mrzine.org> <http://monthlyreview.org/>
