Disagree all you want but the research is on pretty firm ground. I assume you are disagreeing with the research results based on having read some or most of it rather than seat-of-the-pants observations? The woman who runs the local soup kitchen drives an SUV as does the professor next door neighbor. Neither of them seem paranoid or anti-social to me but that observation hardly disproves the research findings. My SO's uncle is a teamster dispute mediator with leftist feelings but if you get to know him he is far more paranoid than he has any reason to be. He chose to live 40 miles from town so he may be somewhat anti-social as well. He drives an SUV.
