According to the exit polls, 40% of voters in House races had
household incomes of under $50,000; according to the Census, 53% of
all U.S. households do; 23% of voters had incomes over $100,000, vs.
17% of all households. The former were under-represented by about
25%; the latter, over-represented by about 33%.
