I thought you would be interested in some "inside" info about Virginia. The value of this info will expire in a couple hours, but it is exciting.
It was thought that there were 30,000 absentee ballots yet to be counted based on the way it happened in 2004. And those absentee votes would like be more Republican.
However, in calling 2/3 the counties, the AP is finding that there is very little absentee vote left to be accounted.
So it is becomming increasingly certain that by end of the day Webb will be ahead by 0.2% or 0.3%. A lead of 0.5% is needed to avoid a recount.
