[lbo-talk] How come nobody talks about the New socialist senator

I just do not understand this line of attack.  The man does not shy away from the label of socialist, the policies he is pushing are to the Left of Canadian Social Democratic politicians so in my book that makes him a socialist of sorts.

What do "real" socialists gain by saying Saunders is not a socialist?

  I'm glad that Sanders was elected. But could somebody explain why he is being called a socialist? Is he a member of DSA, which doesn't necessarily make him a socialist.
